Celebrate our Heritage Apples!
Saturday, 7th October – 11am to 4pm
A FREE event for all ages, visitors are welcome to bring their own apples to be identified by our local expert, who will also be on hand for advice. There’ll be a programme of talks and heritage apple trees for sale.
Pick your own for apple pressing!
Visitors can pick apples from our orchard of heritage fruit trees for pressing. With the help of volunteers from Little Horwood Community Orchard, put the apples through the press and produce your very own Green Dragon apple juice – only £3 for every litre produced!
And for the children, there’ll be children’s crafts, animal encounters, an orchard trail, story telling and an art exhibition with local schools participating.
Apple produce will be on sale in the Eco Centre Cafe and Apple Day visitors will be entitled to a 10% discount on farm admission. For more details, please ring 01296 670444 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
