Our facilities for schools

Our site benefits from a  wealth of habitats including wildflower meadow, nature trail, hedgerows and pasture as well as walled garden and orchard which can be used for visits.

Learning opportunities

These areas present a whole host of learning opportunities from sensory exploration to helping out growing the fruit and vegetables, creating a wildlife habitat or taking part in a wildlife survey.

We keep a variety of animals including rare and native farm animals, exotics, pets and UK wildlife, which can form part of your visit.

With plenty of opportunity to see the animals up close and take part in hands-on activities such as pony grooming, egg collecting and sheep feeding or an interactive talk with topics such as pet care or wildlife.
